A signature from the address itself settles the question outright — only the key holder can produce one, so there is nothing for a reviewer to weigh. When the signed route is live, removal is applied immediately and automatically, with the record noting that no human judged it.
The verification is built and tested; the public endpoint to submit through is not exposed yet. Until it is, say in your request that you can sign, and we will send you a challenge to sign and verify it by hand.
The 72-hour target is stamped onto a request when it arrives, so a later change to the policy cannot re-baseline a request that was already late.
You do not need a takedown to stop being ranked. A claimed profile can opt out of the leaderboard from settings and keep the account and the profile page.
