Terms of Service
Cooked measures Solana trading performance from on-chain data and publishes it. Today the only trading you can do here is simulated — paper trading, with no real money and no custody of anything. These terms set out what we do, what we do not do, and what you agree to by using the service.

“Facts needed” counts the bracketed placeholders that must be filled in before this document can be adopted — 12 of them, each highlighted where it appears. It also carries 12 [VERIFY] notes, which are questions for a lawyer rather than blanks to fill, and do not stop it being adopted. The full list, ranked by how much it could change the product, is in docs/legal-questions-for-counsel.md.
1Who we are, and what these terms cover#
Cooked is operated by [OPERATOR NAME], an individual trading as Cooked, based in Florida, United States, and reachable for legal notice at [BUSINESS ADDRESS] ("Cooked", "we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR NAME].
They cover the Cooked website at cooked.trade, the Cooked web application, the Cooked mobile applications for iOS and Android, and the public API behind them — together, the "Service".
By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. Some parts of the Service are described here but are not switched on yet; those sections say so, and they do not bind you until the feature they describe is live and you have been given notice under section 26.
2The short version#
This summary is here because a document nobody reads protects nobody. It is not a substitute for the rest of the terms, and where the two differ the rest of the terms govern.
- We read public Solana blockchain data, compute trading performance from it, and publish the results along with the method used to produce them.
- The only trading available on Cooked today is paper trading. It is simulated. No money moves, nothing is bought or sold, and no position exists anywhere but in our database.
- We never hold your funds and we never hold your private keys.
- We are not an investment adviser, a broker-dealer, or an exchange. Nothing on Cooked is advice or a recommendation.
- We make no claims, promises, or projections about what you might earn. Not here, not in the product, not anywhere.
- We publish computed figures about wallets whose owners have not signed up. If that is your wallet and you want it gone, section 18 and the Privacy Policy tell you how, and it costs you nothing.
- One thing on Cooked costs money: an optional one-time OG Member purchase. It is a purchase and not a donation, it unlocks no features, and everything else is free.
- You can stop using Cooked at any time and delete your account.
3Who may use Cooked#
You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old and can form a binding contract where you live. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" means that organisation.
The Service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete the account and the data associated with it.
4Where you may use Cooked#
You may not use the Service if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or organised under the laws of a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC"), or if you appear on any list of restricted or prohibited parties maintained by OFAC or another applicable authority.
By using the Service you represent that none of the above applies to you, and that you are not using the Service on behalf of anyone to whom it does apply. We may block access from any jurisdiction at any time, with or without notice, including where we conclude that offering the Service there would require a licence or registration we do not hold.
5What the Service actually does#
Cooked reads transactions that are already public on the Solana blockchain, reconstructs what each wallet bought and sold, computes performance figures from that reconstruction, and publishes the results.
The method is published, not proprietary. Our profit-and-loss methodology and our ranking methodology are documented, versioned, and served publicly, and every published figure is stamped with the version of the methodology that produced it. When the method changes, the version changes and the affected figures are recomputed.
Cooked does not execute trades on your behalf, does not manage assets, does not pool funds, and does not offer or sell securities.
6Paper trading is simulated. Nothing is bought or sold.#
Paper trading is the only trading available on Cooked at launch, and it is entirely simulated. When you place a paper trade, no transaction is signed, no transaction is broadcast, no asset changes hands, and no money moves. The result is a row in our database and nothing else.
A paper portfolio starts with a simulated balance you choose within a fixed range, and that balance is not money. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred, redeemed, sold, or converted into anything. It has no cash value. Neither does any simulated gain you make with it.
- Default starting balance
- $1,000 simulated
- Configurable range
- $100 to $100,000 simulated
- Active portfolios per account
- 5
- Fees charged on a paper fill
- None
- Modelled slippage
- 30 basis points, applied adversely in both directions
- Maximum age of the price a fill may use
- 15 seconds
Paper fills are priced from live third-party market data and are modelled, not matched. There is no order book, no counterparty, and no queue. A real order of the same size at the same moment could fill at a different price, or not at all. Simulated results are not a prediction of real results and we do not present them as one.
You can paper trade without an account. If you do, the portfolio is tied to a session token held by your browser or device and to nothing else — we have no way to identify you and no way to give the portfolio back to you if you lose that token. Portfolios created this way and never claimed by an account are deleted after 7 days.
7Not advice. Not a broker, an adviser, or an exchange.#
Cooked is an information service. Nothing on it is investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything.
We are not registered as an investment adviser, a broker-dealer, a futures commission merchant, a money services business, or an exchange with any regulator, and we do not act in any of those capacities. We do not exercise discretion over anyone’s assets, we do not receive orders, and we do not match, route, or execute them.
A leaderboard position, a ranking, a computed return, a Call, a strategy, or anything else published on Cooked is a description of what has already happened on a public blockchain. It is not a statement about what will happen next, and it is not a suggestion that you do the same thing.
You are solely responsible for your own decisions. Trading digital assets — particularly newly launched tokens on Solana — carries a substantial risk of losing everything you put in. Do not rely on anything on Cooked as a reason to take a position.
8We make no earnings claims#
Cooked does not claim, promise, project, imply, or illustrate that you will earn money, avoid losses, or achieve any particular result. Not in these terms, not in marketing, not in examples, not in onboarding, not in a chart, and not in a figure chosen because it looks representative.
Figures shown anywhere on the Service that are not computed from real on-chain data are labelled as illustrative, and an illustrative figure describes no real account and predicts nothing.
If you encounter anything on the Service that reads as an earnings claim, it is an error. Report it to [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we will remove it.
9What our published figures are, and what they are not#
Every performance figure on Cooked is computed from public on-chain transaction data under a published methodology. That is a real and deliberate difference from a self-reported screenshot, and it is the point of the product. It is not a warranty of accuracy, and the two are worth separating carefully.
What we do commit to, and enforce in the product:
- Every rate is published alongside the sample size it was computed over. A win rate without its trade count is not shown, because it is not a claim anyone can check.
- Every figure carries the version of the methodology that produced it, and the coverage window it was computed over.
- Where a figure could not be computed, we publish an explicit "unavailable" state and say which kind of unavailable it is. We do not substitute a zero, because a zero reads as break-even.
- Where part of a wallet’s data is unpriceable, stale, or suspect, the share that is affected is published next to the figure rather than in a footnote.
- Wallets whose data we cannot vouch for are excluded from rankings rather than ranked with a caveat.
What we do not and cannot warrant:
- That our reconstruction of any wallet’s activity is complete. We index from a stated point forward; activity before that boundary is outside our data and is disclosed as such rather than assumed to be nothing.
- That the third-party price data our figures rest on is accurate, timely, or available.
- That every transaction was decoded. Some are not, and the share that was not is published as a lower bound on how wrong a figure could be — never as an estimate of how wrong it is.
- That a figure is free of error. Blockchain data is ambiguous in places, our method resolves that ambiguity in ways we have documented and argued for, and a different defensible method would produce a different number.
If you believe a published figure about a wallet is wrong, tell us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] with the wallet address and what you think is incorrect. We will look at it. Errors get corrected, and the methodology document gets updated when the correction is a methodological one.
10Accounts and sign-in#
You do not need an account to browse Cooked or to paper trade. You need one to save a portfolio, follow a wallet, claim a profile, or set an alert.
You can create an account two ways: by signing a message with a Solana wallet you control, or with Google. Signing a message is not a transaction and moves nothing. We do not use passwords, so there is no password for us to store or for you to lose.
You are responsible for keeping access to your wallet or your Google account. Anyone who can authenticate as you can use your Cooked account, and we cannot tell the difference. We have no account-recovery mechanism that can restore access to a wallet or a Google account you have lost — those are held by you and by Google respectively, not by us.
Claiming a wallet is permanent. When you prove control of an address by signing a challenge, that address is bound to your account and to no other account, ever. This is what makes a claimed track record mean something, and it is why unlinking is not offered. Do not claim an address you do not intend to keep associated with you.
One account per person. Do not create accounts to impersonate anyone, to evade a suspension, or to manipulate a ranking.
11We hold no funds and no keys#
Cooked is non-custodial. We do not hold, control, safeguard, or have access to your digital assets. We do not hold your private keys, seed phrases, key shares, or recovery secrets. There is no Cooked account balance, no Cooked wallet holding your money, and no deposit or withdrawal.
Because we hold nothing, we cannot freeze, reverse, recover, or restore anything. If you lose access to your wallet, we cannot help you regain it. If you send assets to the wrong address, we cannot retrieve them. If your wallet is compromised, we cannot stop the transactions that follow.
12Live trading#
A live trade is a swap that you build, you review, and you sign with your own wallet, submitted to the Solana network. Cooked prepares the transaction and relays it. Cooked does not decide what you trade, does not trade on your behalf, and cannot sign for you.
- Routing and quotes come from a third-party aggregator. The price you see is a quote, not a guarantee, and the price you get is set by the network and the market at the moment your transaction lands.
- Slippage tolerance is yours to set. A transaction can fail, land at a worse price than quoted, or be front-run. None of those is a malfunction of the Service.
- Where estimated price impact is high we will warn you prominently, and above a higher threshold we will decline to build the transaction unless you acknowledge the impact explicitly. That is a guardrail, not protection — you are entitled to take a bad price knowingly, and a guardrail set anywhere still lets through everything below it.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed, neither we nor anyone else can undo it.
- Network fees are paid to the Solana network, not to us.
You are responsible for the tax consequences of your trading, everywhere you owe tax. We do not provide tax advice and we do not file anything on your behalf.
13Fees on live trades#
The intended structure is a per-swap minimum, and 0.5% of the swap value where 0.5% exceeds that minimum. An OG Member account pays a lower minimum than a standard account — at least [OG FEE ADVANTAGE] lower — for as long as it holds that status. Nothing else varies between the two: the percentage is the same, the routing is the same, and the data is the same.
The minimum in force will be published here and shown in the quote before you sign anything. We will give notice under section 26 before introducing it or raising it, and raising the standard minimum does not erode the OG difference — see section 14.
- Any platform fee will be disclosed in the quote, before you sign, as a figure — not as a spread folded into the price.
- The fee applied to a trade is recorded with that trade at the rate in force at the time. Changing the rate later does not reprice anything already executed.
- Network fees charged by Solana are separate, are not ours, and are not included in the figure above.
- We will give notice before a fee is introduced or increased, under section 26.
14OG Member — a one-time purchase#
OG Member is an optional one-time purchase of $10, available to the first 1,000 accounts that take it. It is charged once. It is not a subscription, it does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel.
What it gets you, in full:
- 01A permanent badge on your profile, and a permanent record of having been one of the first 1,000 accounts.
- 02If and when live trading launches, a permanently lower per-swap minimum fee than a standard account pays — see section 13 and the paragraph below.
What it does not get you: nothing else. No feature is unlocked, nothing on Cooked is behind a paywall, and no data reaches a paying account sooner than a free one — that last one is a rule we do not intend to break, not merely a thing we have not built.
- Price
- $10 once, in U.S. dollars
- Cap
- 1,000 accounts, total, ever
- Renews
- Never. There is no recurring charge.
- Badge
- Permanent, and kept even if the fee benefit never applies
- Fee benefit
- At least [OG FEE ADVANTAGE] below the standard per-swap minimum, if live trading launches
- Refunds
- [REFUND POLICY]
The benefit is expressed as a difference rather than a fixed price, on purpose. The standard per-swap minimum is not settled and may change. Guaranteeing you a fixed number of cents would be a promise we could only keep by never moving the standard rate; guaranteeing that you always pay at least [OG FEE ADVANTAGE] less than a standard account is a promise that survives the standard rate moving in either direction.
The cap is on slots, not on accounts. If you delete your account, the slot may be released and taken by someone else, and buying again is not possible once all 1,000 are gone.
Payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor, or through the Apple App Store or Google Play where you bought it in one of our mobile apps. We do not receive or store your card number. Where a store processed the payment, that store’s refund policy applies in addition to ours and we may not be able to refund you directly.
15Creator marketplace and creator payouts#
A creator is a Cooked user who has claimed a wallet and offers a paid subscription to something they publish — a strategy, a set of signals, or access to their activity.
- Platform take rate
- 20% of the subscription price
- Creator share
- 80% of the subscription price, less payment processing costs
- Price setting
- Set by the creator
- Payout currency
- USD via a payment processor, or USDC on Solana
- Payout schedule and minimum
- [PAYOUT SCHEDULE] · [PAYOUT MINIMUM]
- Dispute holdback
- [HOLDBACK PERIOD]
The take rate applied to a transaction is computed and stored with that transaction. A change to the rate applies to future transactions only.
If you are a creator, you represent that what you publish is yours to publish, that you have not misrepresented your track record, and that you are not offering investment advisory services, managing anyone’s assets, or selling a security. You are responsible for your own tax and regulatory obligations, in every jurisdiction where you have them.
We may withhold a payout where we reasonably suspect fraud, manipulation of a ranking, a chargeback, or a breach of these terms, and we will tell you why. If your account is terminated while you have active subscribers, what happens to those subscriptions is recorded at the time and applied consistently; the policy in force when the termination happens is the one that governs it.
16Referrals#
Each account has a referral code. If someone signs up using yours, you may earn a share of the platform trading fees generated by their live trades — currently modelled at 25% of those fees.
- Credit for a referral is resolved once, when the referred account is created, and is never reassigned afterwards.
- The rate applied to an earning is recorded with that earning. Changing the rate later does not reprice anything already accrued.
- Earnings accrue only on fees actually charged. Where a trade could not be priced, no earning is computed from it, and the number of such trades stays visible rather than vanishing from a total.
- We may void earnings from self-referral, fake accounts, or any scheme designed to generate fees for the purpose of generating referral credit.
Paying out referral earnings requires a payout mechanism that does not exist yet. Until it does, an accrued earning is a record and not a debt.
17Acceptable use#
Use the Service for its purpose. Do not do any of the following:
- Manipulate, game, or attempt to influence a ranking, a leaderboard position, a computed figure, or a discovery feed by any means — including wash trading, trading against yourself, artificial volume, or coordinating with others to do so.
- Misrepresent your track record, claim a wallet you do not control, or attempt to claim one by any means other than signing the challenge we issue.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service at a rate or scale that burdens it, or in circumvention of rate limits.
- Resell, redistribute, or republish data from the Service as a substitute for the Service, or build a competing product out of it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except where that restriction is unenforceable where you live.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service, or attempt to access an account, an admin surface, or data that is not yours.
- Use the Service to harass, dox, threaten, or defame anyone, including the owner of any wallet published on it.
- Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
- Introduce malware, or use the Service to distribute it.
- Use the Service for money laundering, sanctions evasion, or any unlawful purpose.
- Use automated means to create accounts, or use the Service in a way designed to obscure who is using it in order to evade a suspension.
Security research is welcome and is not a violation of this section when it is conducted in good faith, reported to [SECURITY EMAIL], and does not access, modify, or exfiltrate anyone else’s data. Tell us before you publish.
18Wallets we publish about, and how to be removed#
Cooked indexes and publishes computed performance about Solana wallet addresses. Most of those addresses belong to people who have never used Cooked, never agreed to these terms, and may not know the Service exists. This is the single most consequential thing the Service does, and it is addressed here as well as in the Privacy Policy.
What we publish about a wallet that has not been claimed: the address, computed percentage returns and other rates with their sample sizes, trade and round-trip counts, distinct tokens traded, hold times, drawdown, coverage dates, and disclosure figures describing how much of the data we could not price or decode.
If a wallet published on Cooked is yours and you want it removed, you can have it removed. You do not need an account, you do not need to explain yourself, and you do not need a lawyer. There are two routes:
- 01Sign a challenge with the address. Because only the holder of the key can produce that signature, there is nothing for anyone to review — the removal takes effect immediately and automatically.
- 02Submit a request without a signature. It goes to a human review queue with a target turnaround of 72 hours from when it arrives.
Removal means the address stops being a subject we publish about: no leaderboard row, no profile, no share card, no history. It does not mean we delete the underlying blockchain data, which is public, is not ours to delete, and is the evidence for figures we have already published. Section 8 of the Privacy Policy explains the difference and what it means for you.
If you have claimed a wallet and want to keep the account but stop being ranked, you can opt out of the leaderboard without a takedown.
19What you post, and the licence you give us#
You keep ownership of everything you submit to the Service — your username, display name, bio, portfolio names, alert names, Calls, and anything else you write ("Your Content").
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and publish Your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. That licence covers rendering your public profile, generating share cards from it, and showing it in feeds and search results. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already distributed by others and copies we are required to keep.
You are responsible for Your Content. Do not post anything you do not have the right to post, anything unlawful, or anything designed to mislead about your record.
We may remove Your Content, or refuse to display it, if we reasonably believe it breaches these terms. Usernames and display names in particular may be reclaimed where they impersonate someone or are used to mislead.
20Our intellectual property#
The Service — its software, design, interface, name, logo, and the methodology documents — belongs to [OPERATOR NAME] and its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose while these terms are in force.
Underlying blockchain data is public and is not ours. Our reconstruction, computation, presentation, and arrangement of it are.
If you believe something on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to [DMCA AGENT] at [DMCA EMAIL] with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
21Third-party services and links#
The Service depends on third parties: blockchain RPC providers, price and market-data providers, a swap routing aggregator, an identity provider, hosting and monitoring providers, and app stores. They are listed by name in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
We do not control them. If one of them is unavailable, slow, or wrong, parts of the Service will be unavailable, slow, or wrong. We disclose the resulting data quality where we can measure it, but we do not warrant the output of anything we do not operate.
The Service links to external sites, including block explorers and token pages. We do not endorse them and we are not responsible for them. A token appearing anywhere on Cooked is not a recommendation of that token, and is not a statement that it is legitimate.
Your use of a third-party wallet is governed by that wallet’s own terms, between you and its provider.
22Suspension, termination, and deleting your account#
You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may delete your account from your settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and disassociates it from the wallets you claimed. It does not delete public blockchain data, and it does not by itself stop a wallet you claimed from being published as an unclaimed wallet again — for that, use the takedown route in section 18.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service harms other users or the integrity of what we publish. Where we do, we record the reason. A suspension takes effect on your next request rather than whenever your session happens to expire.
We may also discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time. If we discontinue it entirely we will give reasonable notice and, where a paid subscription is running, refund the unused portion of the current period.
Sections 7, 8, 9, 11, 19, 20, and 23 through 30 survive termination. So does any refund we owe you under section 14.
23Disclaimer of warranties#
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that any figure, ranking, price, or piece of market data is accurate, complete, current, or reliable; that the Service will meet your requirements; or that defects will be corrected.
We specifically do not warrant the availability, accuracy, or timeliness of the Solana network, of any RPC provider, or of any price source, and we are not responsible for anything that follows from their failure.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. Where that is so, the exclusions above apply to the fullest extent permitted and you may have rights these terms cannot take away.
24Limitation of liability#
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither [OPERATOR NAME] nor its officers, employees, or contractors will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or trading opportunity, arising out of or relating to the Service — whether the claim is in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised that such damages were possible.
In particular, and without limiting the above, we are not liable for trading losses, for a decision you made after reading anything on Cooked, for a figure that turned out to be wrong, for a transaction that failed or filled at an unexpected price, for the acts of any third-party provider, or for loss of access to a wallet or its contents.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) [LIABILITY FLOOR]. Today, for almost every user, (a) is zero, because nothing on Cooked charges anything.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. Where that is so, these limits apply to the fullest extent permitted, and nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
25Indemnification#
You will indemnify and hold harmless [OPERATOR NAME] and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these terms, Your Content, your violation of any law, or your infringement of anyone else’s rights.
We will tell you promptly about any claim we are seeking indemnity for, and we will not settle it without your consent, which you will not unreasonably withhold. You may not settle a claim in a way that imposes an obligation on us without our written consent.
26Changes to these terms#
We may change these terms. When we do, we will publish the revised version at cooked.trade/legal/terms with a new version number and effective date, and the previous version will remain available.
For a material change — one that reduces your rights, introduces or increases a fee, changes the dispute resolution provisions, or changes how we use your data — we will give at least 30 days’ notice before it takes effect, by an in-product notice and, where we hold a way to reach you, by message.
Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it. If you do not accept it, stop using the Service and delete your account before the effective date. Where these terms protect an existing rate, a change does not override that protection — see section 14.
27Governing law#
These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
28Disputes, arbitration, and class action waiver#
Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceeding, contact us at [LEGAL EMAIL] with a description of the dispute and what you want. We will try to resolve it within 60 days. This step is a precondition to arbitration for both of us.
If we cannot resolve it, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its consumer arbitration rules, before a single arbitrator, seated in [ARBITRATION SEAT], in English. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
Exceptions: either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or to stop unauthorised access to the Service.
Class action waiver. Claims must be brought individually. Neither of us may bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court and the rest of this section still applies to everything else.
Opt out. You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice to [LEGAL EMAIL] within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Opting out has no effect on anything else in these terms and no effect on your use of the Service.

30The rest#
- Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service, and replace anything said before.
- Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, it is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a provision once is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- No third-party beneficiaries, except that our officers, employees, and contractors may enforce sections 23, 24, and 25.
- Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, including network outages, blockchain congestion or halts, and third-party provider failures.
- Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
